Towns and historical Heritage

The architectural treasures of the Languedoc Roussillon, symbols of the past, open their doors and reveal their secrets to all, be they history enthusiasts or merely curious. Many of these treasures have been classified as World Heritage Site by the l’Unesco: Pont du Gard, the fortified City of Carcassonne, the Vauban fortresses, the Canal du Midi, the pilgrimage routes to Santiago de Compostela…



Green spaces and mountains

As you gradually move away from the coast, Le Languedoc Roussillon offers you magnificent natural sceneries with colours and slopes that are unique in France. Climate

Le Languedoc Roussillon is a sunny region with a Mediterranean climate, characterised by its warm and dry summers and mild winters. Temperatures are between 15 to 25 degrees from April to June and from September to the end of November and easily reach 28° during the high season (July and August). The average temperature of the sea water during summer is 22°.
